The Daffodil Project

This year, the Mission San Jose Chamber started a project that we thought might help to beautify our charming little community for the spring and would help create a lasting impression and sense of pride for this beautiful area. We planted bulbs in strategic places to bring attention to businesses, as well as create a long-term visual impact similar to that in Placerville and Murphy California.

Board members Kim Mathis and Andrew deLory championed this project and carried it forward, purchasing the daffodil bulbs, getting the volunteers, encouraging others and exciting the local business community. We encourage others to make contributions to the Mission San Jose Chamber for this ongoing beautification project. This is a project that can only grow over the years and continue to create a sense of community. At right, members of the Tiger Cub Scouts help with the planting on November 26.

Below, the beautiful spring results from our fall efforts!
