Las Posadas, a ceremonial celebration of Mary and Joseph’s journey to Bethlehem, has been co-sponsored by the Fremont Cultural Arts Council and the Committee for the Restoration of the Mission San Jose since 1982.
Several members of the MSJ Chamber of Commerce are acting as hosts this year. We hope you can join us!
Previously we have met each evening on the porch of the Mission Museum and then walked to the host destination; however, in the recent past so many people have gone directly to the host destinations in order to avoid standing in the cold that this year we will meet at the Mission and walk to the destination on the first night, December 15th, and the last night, December 23rd… on all other nights, Las Posadas will meet at the host destination. All gatherings start at 6 p.m.
